I have learned a quite few things from working with Ashley Furniture

  • Upholstery wise, I have come to be proficient as a trimout and a 5th operator. I have also become efficient in building back along with seats. • Coming into over night shift and volunteering for Saturdays I was able to gain knowledge in the blow fill areas of filling and regulating backs along with pillows. I have tried my hand in hand-fill. Along with trying out cushion fill and combo cell.
  • Countless times of volunteer work as a fill in inspector for the company when day shift would run a line on nights and/or Saturdays.
  • I have supplied lines when I came back from my fmla after breaking my still trying to prove my work ethic.
  • I have had the pleasure of running the leg rail and inside arm rail robot along with learning first hand of the back frame building robot when they first came about.
  • I have also had the pleasure of volunteer work for the, Manufacturing system control coordinator team during the labeling of the frame mil car loading project.
