Assisted in assembly line operations for constructing wet cast concrete utility structures. Utilized hand tools and measuring instruments to maintain quality standards. Lifted up to 100 pounds manually as part of production tasks. Operated overhead cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, front-end loaders, and squeeze-type forklifts.

I installed and setup tooling and dies for high volume production of aluminum and steel products. I also ran vertical presses after tooling installs and often setup presses for operators to take over once quality was insured. One of my biggest responsibilities was insuring safe and correct operation of presses before turning over to operators. In addition, I would sometimes be responsible for quality checks and test runs of presses. I’m very well versed in the use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.

At Cooper Tire, I was a utility responsible for operating rubber mixers, loading and unloading materials with a forklift, and also weighing chemicals for rubber production. Here, I was trained in scale calibration, control panel operation, and chemical safety standards.

I worked in the warehouse as mainly a loader. I stacked and loaded furniture orders into semis. Often times, items were well over 75 pounds. Some days I was asked pick furniture from the warehouse to stage for loading. Here I implemented pallet jacks, order pickers, clamp forklifts, reach trucks, and regular forklifts.
