I have held various roles in the ACCESS program at MSU. I started out as a College Coach for a year, the following year I was promoted to a Team Lead position, and now I am currently serving as the Senior Team Lead.

College Coach Responsibilities:

• Paired with one ACCESS student
• Developed strong rapport with students through empathy, patience, and understanding of their unique challenges and strengths.
• Delivered personalized educational, behavioral, and emotional support to individual students to enable positive learning outcomes.

Team Lead Responsibilities:

• Provided support and guidance to my team (Five different students along with their College Coaches).
• Held meetings weekly with College Coaches and ACCESS students.
• Coached team members in techniques necessary to complete job tasks.
• Evaluated employee skills and knowledge regularly, training, and mentoring individuals with lagging skills.

Senior Team Lead:

• Overseeing all the College Coaches and their students (total of 38 students and 42 College Coaches)
