• I am currently teaching fourth-grade ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Health. I am preparing students to grow, excel, and master their district benchmark assessments as well as the 4th grade state ELA assessment.
• I am serving as a teacher mentor for new teachers and hosted a student teacher this year.
• I am the chair of our planning committee, and assist my building level administrator performing various duties.

Literacy Coach as well as English Language Coordinator, English Language teacher, Testing Coordinator, Teacher Support Team Leader, Tier Services Facilitator, and Librarian. I also serve as the chairperson for the school planning team and others. I take great pride that I was voted Calhoun City Elementary School Teacher of the Year by my peers.
