Essential Functions:

• Overall mgmt of a medium-size, 24-hour health center with 10+ regularly scheduled employees.
• Provide patient care as needed to cover staffing gaps.
• Monitor all daily operational processes for medical leaders and providers.
• Performance appraisals for all staff members.
• Manage staff typically composed of RNs, administrative and technical staff. Responsible for following appropriate processes for staff management including talent acquisition, staff development and performance management. Provide input to Director, Client Operations for the final staffing decisions.
• Responsible for interviewing, training and ensuring the successful orientation and onboarding of new colleagues
• Manage daily operations, workflow, work schedules, timecard monitoring etc. to ensure efficient and effective Health Center performance

Essential Functions:

• Used nursing skills to evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.
• Conduct nursing assessment by taking a patient history and physical assessment and by obtaining vital signs and other medical tests. Provides treatment within scope of practice as defined by state law.
• Collaborates with Physician or other Licensed Independent Practitioner to arrange for further medical treatment, when needed.

• Perform occupational and health screening tests as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Conduct appropriate laboratory tests and quality control procedures.
• Documens accurately all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications administered, discharge instructions provided, and follow up care arranged.

• Identify emergency situations and provide care within legal scope of practice.
• Administer medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician or Licensed Independent Practitioner.
