I have been the maintenance man for the last five years over (3) apartment complexes, (2) being located in Biloxi,Ms. and (1) being located in Gulfport,Ms. I was responsible for fixing any and all maintenance issues that came about as well as maintaining the maintenance of the entire properties. I am responsible for doing required monthly inspections on each apartment along with the pest control and property manager to address any maintenance issues a tenant may have as well as changing the air conditioner filters to help maintain good working conditions within the ac and heating units. I am responsible in reporting any units that may not be working to the property manager to get fixed as well as supplying the tenant with a ac window unit or floor heater until unit is fixed. I repair or replace any sheetrock in ceilings or walls that are damaged from leaks to prevent mold build up or further damages. I make sure all apartments have the proper amount of smoke alarms installed all in working condition, I make sure each apartment has a fire extinguisher that has been maintained and in working order. I am responsible for maintaining health and safety conditions making sure that all electrical sockets and gfi's are in working condition, i repair or replace any light fixtures that need be, I repair or replace kitchen and bathroom sinks, faucets and plumbing that need be as well as cutting out access panels, I repair or replace bathroom vanities when needed along with bathroom exhaust fans, shower heads and other hardware. I repair or replace kitchen cabinets and drawers when needed as well as making sure that stove and ovens are in working order. i do rehabs on apartments after tenants move out removal of trash and items left behind, repairing any damages done, painting the whole apartment and making sure everything is ready for the next tenant. i replace shut off valves and maintain sewer issues along with replacing toilets and any hardware in the tank. I am responsible for repairing or replacing any doors in the apartments as well as changing deadbolts on front doors when needed. I am responsible for purchasing supplies to maintain complexes through the company account as well as any and all manager request that is ask of me.
