Activities

I am presently engaged in the process of acquiring Sign Exact English (SEE) proficiency. My purpose is twofold: to facilitate communication with my 9-year-old grandson, who is deaf, and to better serve the deaf and hard-of-hearing patients in my care. My previous experience in caring for such patients has heightened my awareness of the challenges that arise in communication with them. I am confident that SEE will enhance my communication abilities and enable me to better educate my family and the community about the importance of effective communication with deaf individuals.
