OVERVIEW

• supervise and manage the maintenance and operation of the Refineries power plant including boilers, turbo-generators, air compressor, centrifugal pumps, Lime Slurry Plant and the Drinking Water Treatment Plant. Responsibilities include the direct supervision of the Utilities Operator responsible for the above mentioned areas.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Boiler House Supervisor is a full time position working 8 hours per day with occasional overtime on weekdays and weekends.

• Boiler House Supervisor will supervise and manage the maintenance and operation of the Refineries power plant including boilers, turbo-generators, air compressor, centrifugal pumps, Lime Slurry Plant and the Drinking Water Treatment Plant.

• Responsibilities include the direct supervision of the Utilities Operator responsible for the above mentioned areas.

• Responsibilities include supervision for the installation, repair and preventive maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the above mentioned areas.

• Responsibilities span all phases of maintenance, including repairs, troubleshooting, upgrades, improvements, preventive maintenance and maintenance planning.

• Responsibilities also include implementing and maintaining the preventive maintenance program for the Utility equipment.

• Responsibilities include making sure quality preventive maintenance is performed and any problems found are repaired.

• Responsible for scheduling, direction, deployment and safety of the Utilities Operator. Responsible to maintain and improve the efficiency and reliability of the Power Houseequipment using Root Cause Analysis and ensurecompliance with all safety requirements and standard procedures for Boiler and Steam Turbine operation and Drinking Water Plant.

• Responsible for all maintenance, upkeep, upgrades, capital improvements and annual turnaround for all facilities, grounds, and equipment from our Mississippi River deep water port to the rail system and all associated operational equipment necessary to refine and calcine coke.
• Responsible for a monthly R&M budget of $271,000, Current annual capital budget of $7.8 Million and an annual turn around budget of $4.2 Million (2024 Planned Spend).
• Brought on board a new planner and supervisor which has allowed us to bring this plant in to the modern age of preventive and planned maintenance.
• Achieved 92% uptime and set all time high production records leading to 2023 achieving the highest bonus pay out in company history (175%).
• Planned, scheduled and completed our annual turnaround on schedule and within budget which was the first time since Rain started tracking true spend in 2009.
• Conducted an inhouse precision bearing school which has already paid dividends on decreasing bearing failures.
• Leading global carbon products and advanced material manufacturer on the Mississippi River in Chalmette LA. This facility was tasked with the Calcinization of Petroleum Coke in to refined anode grade Calcined Coke for the aluminum industry.

• Responsible for the day to day mechanical reliability of the facility as well as pushing the dry veneer side maintenance crew.
• Brought modern reliability practices into the facility through the implementation of reliability basics.
• Led multiple machine installs and start ups.
• High paced plywood processing facility.

• Responsible for the implementation and start up of a new CMMS system across all three plants.
• Developed new preventative maintenance strategies and streamlined breakdown maintenance operations.
• Maintained and reported department KPI's to document departmental performance.
• High paced poultry processing plant.

• Provided key leadership across a wide variety of maintenance department operations.
• Directed a large multi-disciplinary team of employees, consisting of plant and technical maintenance personnel.
• Held responsibility for managing, monitoring, and upholding operational compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) programs and regulations.
• High-volume manufacturing plant tasked with producing PET plastic bottles for the Coca-Cola Company.

• Responsible for managing and planning outage and shutdown maintenance operations across two paper machines.
• Utilized computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track maintenance schedules and work orders.

• Oversaw and managed daily/weekly maintenance work schedules, maintenance team operations, capital improvement projects.
• Directed a large multi-disciplinary team of employees, consisting of facility and technical maintenance personnel.

• Coordinated outage mechanical operations and daily preventative, routine, and specialty maintenance operations across multiple production areas.
• Utilized a newly developed computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) operations to track maintenance schedules and work orders.
