Metal Framing

Small Business
Kosciusko, MS
02.2025 - 07.2025

Most people say that working in metal framing is some of the hardest work and it is but mainly the hard work comes when the sheet rock and wood is being used really the start of isn’t as bad as getting close to the finish but I generally liked working in this field because you gain a lot of knowledge on using a drill, tape measure, and just being able to coordinate things much faster. This was the shortest job i worked but i’d like to think it was the most challenging too. Some skills we did were:

  • Troubleshot challenges during construction projects by applying problem-solving skills and leveraging extensive experience in metal framing methodologies.
  • Enhanced team productivity by effectively collaborating on large-scale commercial metal framing projects.
  • Expedited construction timelines through the efficient assembly and installation of metal framing systems.
  • Applied expert knowledge of industry trends and advancements in metal framing techniques and materials to consistently deliver top-quality results for clients.

Laborer

Independent Roofing
Canton
09.2025 - 03.2026

This job was fairly easy to learn TPO is a relatively new method of doing these commercial roofs but it is arguably the most effective. We would first start off by laying insulation in the grooves of the steel roof we would only put insulation in the grooves with holes in the metal and the ones without it we would start to roll the vapor barrier over and after that we would make sure and inspect the barrier to see if any water can pass through. after all that is done we would then roll the membrane so it ties it down and afterwards use a small head welder to weld all the seams. The entire process did take a while but it was relatively easy
