  • Directed work efforts of team members to ensure that all night time processes were in line with company standards. This includes replenishments, receiving, picking, trailer loading, and any other process that support the movement of materials that flow through the Central Distribution Center.
  • Our CDC ships out around 25-30 enclosed or flatbed trailers. As drivers are picking up loads during the night, I am responsible for assisting with any issues that might arise.
  • Implemented lean manufacturing principles into production efforts which led to an increase in output efficiency.
  • Responsible for the movements of all employees on that are in the building from 6:30am-6:30pm.
  • Enhanced team productivity by providing regular coaching, monitoring employee activity and giving constructive feedback to employees.

Warehouse Operations Manager

  • The Lowe's business contract moved to Bessemer, Al in March of 2022. NFI shut down in Meridian at that time.
  • Responsible for constant training, coaching and development of all employees
  • Accountable for over $50 million in appliance inventory and led workforce of approximately 100 employees in 467,000 square-foot warehouse that supplies appliances to 89 southern Lowe's retail stores
  • Maintain ability to unload and receive all inbound trailers in 48 hour timeframe. While doing this, also had to meet cut times of up to 30 outbound trailers each day
  • Oversaw warehouse staff and maintained efficiency in fast-paced environment. This included approximately 65 clamp truck operators and leads, 15 CSR's, 4 inventory personnel, and 6 supervisors
  • NFI Meridian runs 20-24 hours 7 days/week with either 3 or 4 shifts. Responsible for all operations from 5pm-5am throughout week
