Over the past two years, working at Fleet Feet has significantly strengthened my interpersonal and customer service skills. Additionally, my time at Buckner Prosthetics has been invaluable in developing relational skills through meaningful interactions with patients from diverse backgrounds. These two roles have also enhanced my abilities in time management, organization, adaptability, and teamwork.
This position has given the opportunity to share knowledge pertaining to shoes, insoles, socks, and many different types of training equipment with customers to aid them in their fitness pursuits.
My responsibilities included following exact work order specifications from certified practitioners to modify different orthotic and prosthetic devices, in order to provide patients with a better fitting product.
My responsibilities here were that of collecting and testing saliva samples from the entirety of Belhaven Universities campus, including students, faculty, and staff to determine if they had the virus.
