- I have grown the recycling program to comprise 20% of the city of Hattiesburg's single-family households
- Address any logistical issues that arise during the process of transporting solid waste to the area landfills and the Material Recovery Facility.
- Manage the entire Sanitation Department workforce which includes scheduling, disciplinary actions, and hiring and firing of department personnel
- A member of the Hazardous Waste Spill Response Team
