  • Developed high-performing laboratory team at the Main Laboratory and at 5 clinics by providing teaching, mentoring, guidance, and opportunities for professional growth. Served as phlebotomist, rotating technologist, teaching technologist, education coordinator, supervisor and director through the years.
  • Enhanced team collaboration through regular communication, goal setting, and performance evaluations. The Main Laboratory had a score of 99 out of 100 on last COLA Inspection and all clinic labs past CLIA with no citations.
  • Established a culture of continuous improvement and instruction for new laboratory tests, instrumentation, continuing education, team building, computer skills and regulations.
  • Encouraged employee engagement, improve turn around laboratory testing times, ensured safety and boosted overall team morale.
