I served with three (3) agencies in my twenty-five (25) year law enforcement career with the State of Mississippi. During my service I had the privilege to serve as an Agent with the Panola/ Tate Narcotics Task Force, a Multijurisdictional Narcotics task force serving Panola and Tate County as well as the surrounding Counties and municipalities there in. The rapid spread of Narcotic activities and the limited number of Agents along with jurisdictional boundaries led to the opportunities to be sworn in through the District Attorney's Office along with higher state and federal agencies dealing with the scope of narcotics. These positions and duties ended after a six year tenure in North Ms. I then worked patrol related duties with the Starkville Police Department until committing to the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department. Serving was a privilege, to work with three (3) different Sheriff's and being trusted by each to of been promoted to Deputy Commander and Lieutenant during my service was an honor.
Everything we do and say matters to someone. Be humble and treat people with respect. Understand the task is important and must be completed to a high standard regardless of the conditions. Leadership, motivation and calmness creates the ability to overcome adverse conditions.
