• I performed a numerous number of tasks while working there, including keeping the dish room sanitized, bussing tables in the dining room and sweeping dirty areas when guests left, restocking and cleaning the restrooms, taking out the trash, replacing plates for the grill line and the server line as well as the glassware and silverware for the server line, and generally making sure the dish room does not get backed up.

• I secured steel bands around the coils and prepared them to be shipped by placing them on pallets on the pack line. I also did the same thing for their Braner(heavier steel coils cut with the largest machine they have available), and Stamco(smaller coils than the Braner, same process) lines. I also worked on their Red Bud, where the sheets of steel would be flattened and blocks of wood would be placed between the sheets to separate them by groups. Here is where I learned how to operate a crane and forklift, but a majority of my forklift experience came from a separate job.

I was a line loader out while I was working there. The job required placing the right size and shape of nuts and bolts along with a housing and a motor unit onto a flat wooden board and sending it down the line for it to be assembled.

I worked in their warehouse using a forklift to pick orders from the racks and brought them back to the ups area on a pallet, where we would print labels for them and prepare them to be shipped out to the customer. A normal day's work would fill the entirety of the ups truck that was sent at 2:30PM each day and the boxes range anywhere from 5lbs to 50 pounds, 50lbs being the most commonly used box as it would have a large amount of assorted product in them.

I started working there as a regular employee but was quickly promoted to manager, as they saw my work ethic and drive to make more money. At the beginning and ends of the shift I would count the front safe to make sure there was a base level of $150 for the drawers that were put into the register, with the ends of the shift including counting all of the money made throughout the day. The money made throughout the day would then be totaled up and placed into an envelope along with the drawer of $150 in the front safe to be taken to the bank the next morning by the opening manager.

I am currently doordashing to make money. It was nice for a while and the pay is okay, but I am currently looking for a stable line of work that can actually benefit me later in life as opposed to just making money to survive right now.
