As a new CNA, it is my job to make sure my main priority is to make sure that the residents are safe! I also have to ensure I am following protocols regarding infection control, not only to protect myself but to protect the residents! This also applies to other protocols such as feeding, personal care, vital signs, etc., ensuring that the patients are well cared for and have good health. When they are taken care of, they are in a better mood. As a CNA, that'll make you feel better knowing that you are doing your job right!
